Welcome to our spring newsletter!

As the world wakes up from its winter slumber, we at ICU would like to share some exciting updates, upcoming events, and new useful functions in Boomerang.

New Boomerang knowledge database

We have started to collect all Boomerang technical knowledge together in a single, centralized knowledge base. Easy access within the tool you use every day (Boomerang).

You find the information in the navigation pane to the left, under the tab "Support" .

The "User manual" is the first document we publish here, more manuals and technical guides will follow...

To the left you will find the navigation pane with direct links to each chapter in the manual and on the right hand side the chapter/page you have chosen.

On top left there is an AI search function.

All you have to do is ask a question or enter a keyword — it’ll scan the documentation and summarize an answer in seconds.

Boomerang cloud servers to be upgraded, spring 2024

During the spring of 2024, we will commence the process of transferring Boomerang 3 to upgraded servers. Our goal is to always use the latest server technology in order to secure the operation of the system and to improve the performance.

As part of this transition, there may be occasional minor disruptions in service. As customary, we will notify users well in advance by publishing the date, time, and duration of the service window.

Any downtime occurring during this period will also be clearly communicated.

On April25th we participate on the UBI mini exhibition & following pub-event.

We will meet our IVF and infertility friends at the Nordic IVF Laboratory Society (NILS) 20th Meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark on the 3rd-4th of May 2024

Last but not least, we would like to introduce our newest member of the Boomerang support team Dado Hatipovic at our Båstad office, south of Sweden.

In connection with Dado's onboarding, we will also implement a new case & support system to increase the efficiency of our support/help desk.
