Welcome to the June 2025 newsletter of the Arts for Good Foundation. This month, we are pleased to welcome seven summer interns from the University of Chicago (US), the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), and the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK). We have launched our exciting creative and community service summer program with these young individuals who come from multi-disciplinary studies in visual languages, anthropology, policy studies, fine arts, economics, and art history. The continued support from these institutions, combined with the enthusiasm and knowledge of these young individuals, has enabled us to fulfill our commitment to providing meaningful and inspiring learning experiences for themselves. More significantly, we are engaging them in impactful community services initiatives for the less privileged and under-resourced in Hong Kong.
One of the highlights this month was our visit to the graduation show of China Academy of Art in Hangzhou and intangible culture heritage sites in Suzhou. Despite the current global challenges, we are committed to guiding young individuals from diverse disciplines and cultural backgrounds to make a difference. We inspire them to explore through creativity, bridge cultures with their own experiences and perspectives, and spark dialogues through unique artistic expression. We continue to lead and empower them to make positives changes within diverse communities in Hong Kong. We encourage them to consistently question, explore, create, and serve our communities with unwavering dedication.
As in previous years, our next edition will be in August 2025, with no publication scheduled for July.
Best regards,
