Textile Performance Art

Our featured textile performance art is a community-engaged art using the medium of textile. By having the students from extremely polarised communities  in Hong Kong work collaboraively,  we aim to make them connect with different tensions, distances, and contacts,  and learn and make positive changes during the process of making. More importantly, it reclaims  the social norm of textile art, and give new perspectives for the younger generation.  The historical practice of textile arts, in terms of how it empowers women and brings community together, will definitely contribute to our mission of fostering social inclusion.
Tai Kwun Culture and Heritage Storytelling

Arts for Good Foundation strives to nurture our future generations with perspectives from Hong Kong and around the world. Through storytellings about our cultural, history, heritage and arts, we instil multicultural tolerance and understanding, foster critical thinking and in-depth thinking,  and encourage students to make history and heritage relevant to their own lives whist learning about  different cultures.
More to Come

We are deeply grateful for what we have achieved within the past half year, and we are more than excited to announce our future events for May. Arts for Good Foundation will continue to bring high quality art programmes to students from polarised and culturally divided communities. We deeply believe in equality in arts education, we hope to foster positive changes for our future generations in Hong Kong.
