Arts for Good Foundation Newsletter
June 2026

Welcome to the June newsletter from the Arts for Good Foundation. This month, we have collaborated with a total of 12 young creators across a variety of creative engagement, community service, and content development initiatives. As an innovative milestone, we successfully piloted two generative AI agents, Mond and Lim, to take on the vital administrative and project management roles. Empowered by technology, we are thrilled with the enhanced productivity and efficiency of Arts for Good, as well as our team's individual agency and collaborative efforts. This AI-driven management model serves as a pilot that will enable us to reflect on our potential scalability in the future, while bringing all young learners and makers a completely new working and learning experience in our cross-disciplinary project-based social impact work. Committed to youth-led initiatives, we continue to create meaningful community-based content, expand our community outreach, and uplift each individual for the betterment of our society through and with the arts.

Regarding personal professional development, I am excited to pursue my scholarly inquiry in Social and Cultural Anthropology at University College London, adopting a particular Southeast Asian social and cultural perspective to investigate how we preserve authentic humanistic values in the era of generative artificial intelligence, and how we embed these values into holistic learning and social impact work for future generations. I am deeply motivated to translate the insights from my inquiry into ongoing community impact and social innovation at Arts for Good, continuing to empower youths from all walks of life to build a more inclusive and transformative future for Hong Kong.

Please note that, as in previous years, our next edition will be published in August 2026, with no publication scheduled for July.

Kind Regards,

Journey Map
New Home Association Summer Program

This summer, we are launching a creative art-integrated learning program titled "Journey Map: Connecting East and West", which is thoughtfully tailored for young students from the New Home Association. Focusing on English literacy, creative expression, and personal self-exploration within both Eastern and Western cultural contexts, this initiative is designed to support a group of underprivileged children from new immigrant families as they integrate into Hong Kong's social and cultural landscape. Through the lens of iconic artist Wu Guanzhong’s unique cross-cultural journey, participants will broaden their perspectives via distinct narrative anchors that seamlessly blend English language learning with hands-on arts and crafts across a four-week course. In addition, by exploring deeper meanings in their daily encounters, beneficiaries will enjoy an enriched summer experience featuring museum visits, immersive storytelling, and two-day collaborative tactile art creation workshops at a local heritage site.

To bring this vision to life, we have strategically mobilized a team of seven young talents in Fine Arts, English Studies, and Museum Studies from two premier institutions, fully engaging them in the creation of this project, which is scheduled for July and August. By uniting these distinct fields, our approach systematically shifts traditional, single-dimensional social service into a multi-faceted social impact model. Centered around the powerful medium of "art," this program inspires an inner motivation for language learning and artistic expression, fostering personal growth and social inclusion. Ultimately, it empowers both our NGO beneficiaries and university contributors to regain agency and take true ownership of their personal, academic, and professional development, contributing to shaping a more inclusive society in Hong Kong.

Arts for Good Foundation

歡迎來到Arts for Good Foundation 的2026年6月簡訊。
