Highlight of January

We are so excited to launch our website, thanks to the tremendous contribution from all our volunteers:  our programmers Eugene Ng and Martine Yeung, our student editor Ken Yip from HKUST, our student story writer Alysha Bibi from HKU, our proofreaders Michelle Wan, Jessica Hsu, Kate Hicks, and Jessica Shum etc. My deep-hearted gratitude also extends to all my advisors and friends who help with the vision, mission and value statements. I would like to invite you all to visit our website. Thank you so much for sharing our vision and our belief for our beloved city.
Arts on Shells - Buddy Recruitment

Paint and add a message and place it for outdoor for others to find in the hope that the message on the shell uplifts the person who finds it.

We are working with @messageinashellhk to launch a beautiful art workshop on the medium of scallop shells at Tai O waterfront Cafe Solo (#cafesolo). We are looking for 10 students from international or private schools to sponsor 10 underprivileged students from public housing, and go on an art creation trip to Tai O in February and March together. Two to three trips will be arranged in a small group setting. We encourage students to share their way of seeing the world with the contact of the natural shells, whilst on the journey of discovering our shared common humanities of connection and kindness. Please email us if your children are interested and we will work on the outing details under  COVID situation.

Founder's Tour at "The Art of Hope"

We are so proud of the four students who live in completely different communities, study in different school systems and even speak different languages. We are so proud of them for having the courage to step out of their own social zone to connect with others.

They have strengthened our deep belief that arts is a common good to bridge the communities. Through arts, we sit down, and start our dialogues. We discuss our differences; we respect everyone’s perspectives and way of seeing arts; we encourage purity, authenticity, and self expression. At mean time, we also discover our commonalities, universal values and hints of smiles on our faces.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Villepine Gallery and the Co-founder Arthur De Villepin for his support and time with us, and especially the strong mind messages about The Art of Hope that he delivered to the children.

New Members to The Advisory Team

We are also very honoured to have another two  strong members joining our advisory team: Senior Managing Director Lauren Chung from Teneo, and Emotional Intelligence Practitioner Debbie Bailey.

We are looking forward to our future good work through Arts guided by our mission and values.
